{The Day I found out I was Pregnant}
Heres the back-story, you see long story short I have been
on fertility medicine. I had blood work to see if I ovulated, didn’t hear from
my doctor (who I always hear from) so I assumed that I didn’t ovulate and it
didn’t work. I told my Dustin, and my mother in law this month was a no go the night we flew to Texas.
We go to Texas. We had a blast, however I was nausea the
entire time.
My thoughts?
It was because of the fact that we have been
eating great and dieting and go to Texas and eat nothing but steaks, break and
potatoes.
{Ohh and I over loaded myself on sweet tea. }
That right there is why I thought I was sick to my stomach.
I was exhausted. The entire time we were there.
My thoughts?
” Ohh there is a time change it’s throwing me
off. Ohhhh I’m on vacation I tend to go in hibernation. Ohh I am the sleeping
queen. “
I had it all figured out, and pregnant was not even in my
mind.
We got home late Sunday night.
Monday morning I realized that the following day {Tuesday} I
had a follow up test to see if the clomid worked.
So I thought {what the heck, take a test there is one left}
And totally expecting it to be negative, I got a positive. I
laughed. I cried. I laughed.
I ran to the store to get more tests.
I took one at around 10 and around 1.
Three positive tests.
I had my doctor’s appointment the next day.
Tests came back positive.
They took blood work- positive
We went back 3 weeks later { felt like a lifetime} to see our little sweet pea.
We get to see Baby Erickson again on Thursday. I'll be just about 12 weeks. So excited to say good bye to 1st trimester.
Our friends and family are so excited and such great supporters.
I told the world at 10 weeks. I couldn't contain myself any longer. Too exciting to keep a secret. We heard the heart beat. I have had some serious fears of something going wrong, but thats what family and friends are there for, support and prayer, and nothing in my mind is more powerful then prayer.
Sweet Brittany and Jay brought this sweet book over right after we found out.
We will document the "growing" baby Erickson through pictures soon, as of now my pants are snug, and I just look bloated LOL!
