Baby Erickson is a ........

We have been so busy planning the gender reveal party.

I am so blessed with amazing friends. 

Meagan gave up her afternoon to come help.

 Kayla was sick came over after work and stayed until about 11 pm. 

Jen stone and Jen Sims came over for a few hours.

Jen Stone made so many goodies for the party, and filled out balloon box with balloons.

I am just overwhelmed with amazing people in our life, and I am so happy that baby will have a true understanding of what a true friend is. They are very hard to find.

We got everything almost ready, and I couldn’t wait for Saturday. It seriously was even better then counting down for Christmas

We scheduled a 3d/4d ultra sound for Saturday morning {the party was Saturday night}. I was terrified baby would be difficult. I woke up just going on and on about how stubborn I can be, and what if baby is anything like me, and the party  got ruined!?

We got there, and I didn’t even care anymore. Being able to see baby was the most amazing experience. I have seen baby before, but this ultra sound machine, up on a 60 inch tv,  how detailed, and real it was, was just so incredible. Baby was crossing its legs so we couldn’t see gender { which was good because we were waiting for the party to find out with every one }. Then she poked baby a little bit, got baby moving and she said she had a crystal clear picture of babys gender.

The rest of the day flew by { I thought it would go on forever}. We had so much to do around the house to get ready for the party.

Party started at 6:00 pm, and I already knew I wouldn’t make it any later then 6:30. At 6:25 everyone was here and we found out baby is a………………………

Baby Doctor Ap #2

My doctor is wonderful. She’s young, funny, I just adore her and very blessed I found her { for those interested it’s Angela Cicklin at Essential Women’s}. However, she is on maternity leave. I only have two doctors’ appointments without her, so it’s not too bad. I have never waited more then 15 minutes to get back, and maybe another 5 minutes in the room. Well, at my last doctors appointment, I had to see her colleague, as she is gone right now. I heard people in front of me getting very angry they had waited an hour and 15 minutes. I had to go back to work and couldn’t do that. Luckily, another doctor came in and said he would take those women, and I got right back. Then I waited a good 30 minutes. I was not impressed.

I had to go potty. BUT I knew as soon as I would leave the room she would show up, so I held it.

She comes in, and gets the Doppler machine to hear the heart beat.

……Nothing ….

I went in a panic attack.  In a split second I almost LOST it.

She said no worries and went and got an ultra sound machine.

Baby was perfectly fine.

“ Ohh your bladder is supper full and was probably blocking the sound of the heart beat” I hear her say.

……Relief…….

Baby was moving around so much, she couldn’t get a photo. She was even surprised how much baby was moving around. It was crazy how much baby grew in just a few weeks.

It seriously was amazing.

I then went home and did research on the Doppler’s and they said how much they don’t pick up heartbeats. What happened to me was NOT uncommon. I officially decided I don’t like them, and everyone should get to see baby EVERY doctor’s appointment via ultrasound.

Week 13

It’s officially time to document.

Chapter 13 for 13 weeks :]

I can’t wait to find out the Gender. Like it’s killing me. People always tell me I have the patience of a saint for teaching Kindergarten, but that is the ONLY aspect of life I have patience in.

For those who know me, I like to be different. Not do everything the same as others. Just how I have ALWAYS been, a total breed of my own.

I am LOVING gender reveal parties. I am LOVING the balloon idea. I am LOVING mustache and lips.

But I thought, “how can I be different” and “how can I make this a theme Dustin would be SUPER involved with” 

And then as we were talking politics one night. It totally came to me!

Its election year, gender reveal will be end of September.
